Job Description:
Technical Sr. Sales Machinery/ Asst Manager for Chennai (Chromepet,) location to drive sales of capital and heavy precision industrial equipment. This role involves consultative, solution-based selling to industrial customers, EPC contractors, and large manufacturing plants.
This is not FMCG or retail sales. The role requires engineering understanding, site interaction, and long-cycle project sales exposure.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop and execute the sales plan for South Region ( Tamil Nadu, AP, Telangana & Kerala ) to achieve revenue and growth targets. Manage South Sales team.
Lead and manage the South Region Sales Team, ensuring performance and target achievement.
Identify and acquire new customers, projects and applications.
Manage and grow existing key accounts and generate repeat business.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline from enquiry to order closure.
Develop business across Wind, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Steel, Valves, Power, Heavy Engineering, Infrastructure and OEMs.
Conduct customer visits,
product demonstrations and application discussions.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical/service teams for suitable solutions.
Monitor market trends, competitors and identify current business opportunities.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity status and regular territory reviews.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Engineering degree preferred, with 8 to 12 years of experience in B2B industrial/technical sales.
Experience in industrial tools, engineering products, MRO, capital equipment or related industries preferred.
Strong customer network and proven new-business development capability.
Good communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
Self-driven, target-oriented and willing to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu.
Location - Chormepet , Chennai
Working days- Monday to Saturday( 2nd 4th 5th Saturday off & Sunday off )
Timing - 9.30 to 6.30 pm
