NRole Overview
nFlipkart is seeking a seasoned and hands-on security leader to join as Senior Manager – Security Operations. This role is critical to driving Flipkart's secure-by-design vision, and will be directly responsible for designing and implementing security monitoring and operations across our infrastructure platforms, hybrid cloud environments, and core orchestration layers.
NKey Responsibilities
n● Security Operations Leadership
N○ Lead the day-to-day operations of the Cyber Security team, including Security Operations Center (SOC, Threat Detection, and Threat Intelligence)
N○ Build and enhance capabilities for 24x7 monitoring and response to security incidents.
N○ Manage outsourced Security Operations Centre partner and team
N● Threat Management
n○ Drive the development and tuning of detection use-cases, playbooks,



and alerting mechanisms using SIEM and XDR tools.
N○ Oversee proactive threat hunting and threat intelligence integration to detect advanced persistent threats (APT) and reduce dwell time.
N● Incident Response & Crisis Management
N○ Lead and coordinate high-impact incident response efforts, including root cause analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
N○ Conduct regular incident response simulations and tabletop exercises with stakeholders.
N● Security Engineering & Automation
N○ Partner with the security engineering team to design and implement detection and response automation.
N○ Drive continuous improvement of detection logic and response workflows.
N● Metrics & Reporting
n○ Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for security operations.
N○ Present operational metrics, risk trends, and incident learnings to leadership on a regular basis.
