About Position:

nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Azure SQL Database Administrator with 10 to 15 years of expertise in managing enterprise-scale database environments across cloud and hybrid infrastructures. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Microsoft SQL Server, with a strong focus on performance optimization, automation, database security, high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud modernization initiatives.

nWhat You'll Do:
n

- n
- Manage, administer, and optimize Azure SQL Databases, Azure SQL Managed Instances, and SQL Server environments running on Azure Virtual Machines.n
- Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup, recovery, and maintenance activities.n




- Lead SQL Server modernization and migration initiatives from on-premises environments to Azure cloud platforms.n
- Monitor database performance and proactively identify bottlenecks affecting availability and efficiency.n
- Analyze execution plans, indexing strategies, wait statistics, and query performance issues.n
- Optimize query execution, storage utilization, compute resources, and overall database performance.n
- Implement and manage High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.n
- Configure and support Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, Geo-Replication, and Point-in-Time Recovery solutions.n
- Ensure recovery objectives and business continuity requirements are consistently achieved.n
- Develop and implement database monitoring and observability solutions using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.n
- Automate database administration tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, ARM Templates, Bicep, and Terraform.n
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for database deployment
