The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end category performance, including assortment planning, vendor management, pricing, promotions, marketing and inventory optimization to drive sales and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Own and manage the assigned category P&L; (sales, margin, growth) Develop and optimize product assortment based on market trends and customer demand Identify, onboard,



and manage relationships with key suppliers/vendors Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial terms with partners Plan and execute promotions, discounts, and marketing activities Monitor inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability and minimizing aging/overstock Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and competition to drive category strategy Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, operations) for seamless execution Track key KPIs like sell-through, margin %, stock cover, and availability What you'll need: Required Skills - 1–4 years of experience in retail buying/category management/e-commerce Strong analytical and negotiation skills Experience with assortment planning and inventory management Proficiency in Excel/SQL/data analysis tools is a plus Positive understanding of market trends and consumer behavior Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Preferred Skills
