Job Description ITARI is inviting applications for Faculty in Teacher Education to teach and mentor pre-service and in-service educators on postgraduate programmes. About ITARI Based on the Indus International School campus in Bengaluru, ITARI prepares educational leaders through practice-centred teacher education, school-based immersion, and research. Our programmes include postgraduate (EQF Level 7) modules delivered in collaboration with UK universities, with pathways aligned to the IB Educator Certificate (IBEC). The Role — What you’ll do - Teach and co-design postgraduate modules (PGDE / MA.Ed). - Mentor teacher-learners during school immersion; observe, coach, and give actionable feedback. - Supervise K–12 teacher-education research (action research, inquiry cycles). - Lead assessment design, moderation, and quality assurance. - Collaborate with Indus schools to curate exemplary IB-aligned practice. - Contribute to outreach/CPD and community engagement. You bring - Ph.D.
(preferably in Education) or closely related field. - Experience in K–12 schooling and teacher training; IB experience preferred. - Strong scholarship and writing; comfort with data-informed improvement. - Design-thinking mindset, research orientation, and a drive to innovate. - Ability to partner effectively with education technology and collaborate across teams. - Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder skills.
