nAbout the Role
nWe are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our Finance team at iFranchise. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting, statutory compliance, payroll taxation, and financial reporting. This role requires someone who can independently manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely statutory filings, and maintain accurate financial records while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

nKey Responsibilities
nAccounting & Bookkeeping
n
- n
- Maintain Books of Accounts in Tally Prime/ERP.n
- Record, verify, and reconcile daily financial transactions.n
- Prepare and maintain journals, ledgers, vouchers, and bank reconciliations.n
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial record management.n
- Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of financial reports.n

nStatutory Compliance

- n




- Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B).n
- File Annual GST Return (GSTR-9).n
- Handle Qualified Tax (PT) registrations, payments, and return filings.n
- Manage Provident Fund (PF) monthly challans and annual filings.n
- Manage Employees' State Insurance (ESI) monthly challans and annual filings.n
- Ensure timely payment and compliance of all statutory obligations.n

nPayroll & Taxation

- n
- Calculate and deposit TDS as per statutory requirements.n
- Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns.n
- Perform employee income tax calculations.n
- Generate and issue Form 16.n
- Support payroll processing and ensure accurate statutory deductions.n

nFinancial Compliance & Reporting

- n
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and government authorities.n
- Assist during statutory and internal audits.n
- Maintain proper financial documentation and compliance records.n
- Prepare MI
