nRoles and Responsibilities:

- n
- Provide 24x7 operational support for all Staples Cloud Infrastructure and participate in the on-call rotation.n
- Implement infrastructure availability and performance monitoring to ensure platform uptime and performance.n
- Automate OS/security patching, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) cluster upgrades, etc.n
- Drive production readiness Permit to Operate (PTO) process for applications migrating into the public cloud.n
- Develop, maintain, and promote a culture of continuous enhancement for a robust knowledge management system for the Cloud Services team and its partners.n
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineers/Architects, SRE, Development, Release Engineering, and Database teams to support implementations into the cloud infrastructure.n




- Support aspects of the cloud migration initiative, including its impact on infrastructure, networks, and security.n
- Research, analyze, and recommend solutions for challenging cloud operational issues.n
- Generate governance and compliance-related reports for management as needed.n
- Work with Staples Incident/Problem Management and cloud providers to drive root cause analysis (RCA) for high-priority issues in a timely manner.n

- Must have robust experience as a Linux Administrator supporting large-scale cloud infrastructure environments.n
- Must have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and ARM Templates.n
- Must be proficient in automation tools including Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, and Terraform.n
- Must have experience working with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.n
