Job Title: Financial Controller

Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly responsible and meticulous Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations, manage cash outflows, and ensure absolute regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the payment approval workflow, validating disbursements against standard accounting principles and commercial contracts. Additionally, this individual will act as the company‘s Authorized Representative (AR) for all income tax, GST, and banking matters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Authorization & Commercial Review
- Strict Disbursement Oversight: Exercise responsible authority over the company’s payment release cycle, managing multi-tier approval workflows.
- Accounting Standards Verification: Review all invoices and claims to ensure accurate ledger provisioning and strict compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP).
- Commercial Alignment:
Validate every payment request against signed commercial agreements, purchase orders (POs), and service level agreements (SLAs) to guarantee value-for-money and prevent overpayments.
- Risk & Fraud Mitigation: Spot anomalies, unauthorized deviations, or compliance gaps in payment claims before providing executive approval.
2. Taxation & Authorized Representation (AR)
- Direct & Indirect Tax Representation: Act as the formal Authorized Representative (AR) for the company. Prepare documentation, draft responses, and represent the organization during Income Tax and GST audits, scrutiny assessments, or legal disputes.
- Tax Compliance Management: Monitor periodic GST filings (GSTR-1, 3B, GSTR-9/9C) and Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliations. Oversee Income Tax obligations including advance tax, TDS returns, and corporate tax filings.
