We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer - Remote. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in data visualization, dashboard development, and data integration using Power BI and Azure. Additionally, knowledge of Oracle Fusion and a background in Finance, HR, or Procurement processes. Experience in Agile methodologies, end-to-end BI project lifecycle, wireframe design, and applying UI/UX design standards will be critical for this position.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, and Procurement, to gather requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications to design, build, and deploy custom reports.
- Optimize Power BI performance by implementing best practices in data modeling and DAX calculations.
End-to-End BI Lifecycle Management:
- Manage and lead end-to-end BI projects from inception to deployment, including requirements gathering, solutiondesign, development, testing,and user acceptance.
- Develop and document project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure project alignment with business goals, tracking progress, managing risks, and communicating with stakeholders.
- Coordinate post-implementation reviews and incorporate feedback for future improvements.
Wireframe and UI/UX Design:
- Design wireframes and prototypes to guide the development of visually appealing and user-friendly PowerBI dashboards.
- Ensure the application of UI/UX best practices and design standards, enhancing user experience throughintuitive navigation and interaction.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather feedback on design prototypes and incorporate changes for continuous improvement.
