Figures Global Advisors is looking for an experienced accountant to independently manage accounting assignments for Indian and US clients.

About the role
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in Indian accounting using Zoho Books and US accounting using QuickBooks and Zoho Books.

You will take ownership of assigned accounts, from day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations to month-end closing and financial reporting. This role requires strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, clear client communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts for Indian and US clients, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and ageing reviews.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, customer and vendor balances, and other balance sheet accounts.




- Investigate discrepancies and follow up on outstanding items.
- Complete month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other adjustments.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
- Handle GST and TDS accounting and reconciliations for Indian clients, and coordinate with compliance teams on relevant workings.
- Maintain US accounts and prepare reconciled records and schedules for clients, CPAs, and tax advisors.
- Account for foreign currency transactions and intercompany balances, where applicable.
- Coordinate directly with clients to obtain documents, resolve queries, and meet reporting deadlines.
- Maintain organised supporting documentation and identify improvements to accounting processes.
