Lead – Applications (Web & Mobile)
Role Summary
The Lead – Applications (Web & Mobile) will be responsible for leading the end-to-end development, architecture, delivery, and continuous improvement of web and mobile applications across business functions. The role will manage and mentor a team of developers while driving the adoption of modern full-stack technologies and engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development & Delivery
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing web and mobile applications.
- Own the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.
- Ensure adherence to coding, performance, security, and quality standards.
- Manage application releases, versioning, deployments, and production issues.

2. Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Define and implement scalable application architectures, including microservices, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
- Drive technology selection and establish engineering best practices.




- Promote the use of up-to-date frameworks and technologies such as React/Angular, React Native, Java/Spring Boot, and Node.js.
- Ensure applications are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and secure.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide architectural guidance to development teams.

3. Team Management & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of developers and technical leads.
- Allocate work, track deliverables, and ensure timely execution of projects.
- Build team capabilities in full-stack development and emerging technologies.
- Establish engineering discipline through code reviews, development standards, and best practices.

4. Stakeholder & Business Collaboration
- Work closely with business teams, Product Managers, UX teams, and other technology stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and effective technical solutions.
