Head - Projects (API Manufacturing)

Location: Bidar, Karnataka

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head - Projects to lead and manage capital projects, plant expansions, brownfield/greenfield initiatives, for our CDMO API manufacturing facility. The role requires solid leadership in project execution, stakeholder management, regulatory compliance, and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of capital projects, including greenfield, brownfield, expansion, and debottlenecking initiatives.
- Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, EHS, Procurement, Engineering, and Validation teams for seamless project execution.
- Manage design, installation, commissioning, qualification, and handover of manufacturing facilities and utilities.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements, engineering standards, and company quality systems.




- Drive project completion within approved cost, schedule, and quality parameters.
- Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely and safe execution of projects.
- Establish and monitor engineering documentation in line with GDP and compliance requirements.
- Ensure effective implementation of safety policies, risk assessments, and statutory regulations across all project activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Desired Profile
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical or related discipline).
- Proven experience in leading projects within the Pharmaceutical/API industry.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, project management, engineering systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building skills.
