Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) ModuleLead / Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, enhancement, andsupport of SAP GTS solutions for ABB’s global trade compliance landscape. The idealcandidate should possess deep functional expertise in SAP GTS with strong solutionarchitecture capabilities and experience in S/4HANA integration.The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, global process owners, andcross-functional SAP teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality global tradesolutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead SAP GTS implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.Design end-to-end Global Trade Compliance solutions aligned with businessrequirements.Conduct requirement gathering workshops and prepare FunctionalSpecifications.Configure and support SAP GTS functionalities including:o Compliance Managemento Customs Managemento Risk Managemento Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screeningo Embargo Checkso Legal Controlo Preference Processingo Product Classificationo Export ManagementLead solution design discussions with business stakeholders.Collaborate with SAP SD, MM, FI, Logistics, EWM, TM, and Basis teams for end-to-end integration.Work with SAP S/4HANA and ECC integration using standard interfaces.Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments, enhancements,reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.Review Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications,



and test scenarios.Drive SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and Production deployment activities.Perform root cause analysis for production issues and provide sustainablesolutions.Ensure compliance with global trade regulations and corporate governancepolicies.Prepare solution architecture documents and technical design documentation.Provide effort estimation, project planning, and delivery governance.Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership.Participate in client workshops, steering committee meetings, and executivepresentations.Support Hypercare and Production stabilization activities.

Required SkillsMinimum 7+ years of hands-on SAP GTS consulting experience.Overall SAP experience of 10+ years preferred.Strong expertise in SAP GTS architecture and configuration.Experience in at least 2–3 End-to-End SAP GTS Implementations.Strong experience in AMS Support and Global Rollout projects.Expertise in:

o Compliance Managemento Customs Managemento SPL Screeningo Legal Controlo Product Classificationo Embargo Checkso Export ControlExperience integrating SAP GTS with:o SAP S/4HANAo SAP ECCo SAP SDo SAP MMo SAP FIStrong understanding of IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs, ALE,



and middlewareintegration.Experience preparing Functional Specifications for ABAP developments.Strong debugging and issue analysis capabilities.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience working in global delivery and multinational environments.Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and SAP Activate methodologies.

Preferred QualificationsSAP GTS Certification (Preferred)SAP S/4HANA experienceExperience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / SAP CPIExperience with SAP Fiori applicationsKnowledge of SAP EWM, TM, or Logistics ExecutionPMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are an added advantage
