Role Overview

Are you passionate about people, community, and creating a vibrant coworking culture? We’re looking for a dynamic and innovative Community Manager to oversee and grow our coworking space in Kolkata. You will be the driving force behind our community’s success—fostering connections, delivering exceptional experiences, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Relations & Front Office Duties

- Greet and support walk-in visitors and members, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
- Answer general inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and guide guests or leads to the appropriate point of contact.
- Maintain a visible and responsive front-desk presence during business hours.

2. Onboarding New Members

- Prepare workstations for new members, including desk tags, signage, and welcome kits.
- Conduct move-in audits to ensure readiness and functionality.
- Assist in onboarding walkthroughs and introduction to space amenities, community policies, and tech access.
- Help gather KYC documents and follow up on membership agreements and onboarding formalities.

3. Sales Support & Lead Handling

- Assist in workspace tours by prepping the space and supporting the Community Manager during client visits.
- Handle incoming leads via phone or walk-ins; log relevant details into the CRM.




- Follow up with warm or cold leads as directed by the Sales Team.
- Help keep online listings and discovery platforms up to date with accurate availability and offerings.

4. Member Experience & Community Engagement

- Collect feedback from members and escalate actionable insights to improve overall experience.
- Support with internal events, networking mixers, and festive celebrations—from prep to execution.
- Be a visible, positive presence in the hub and offer day-to-day support to members with professionalism and care.

5. Membership Administration & Coordination

- Maintain inventory and petty cash records for office supplies, F&B;, and stationery.
- Assist in processing documents and storing membership-related files and agreements.
- Coordinate internally across teams to ensure timely responses to member queries and escalations.

6. Market & Competitor Awareness

- Conduct research on coworking competitors (offerings, pricing, services) and assist in compiling internal reports.
- Help identify potential local vendors, service providers, or community collaborators for partnerships.

7. Housekeeping Management

- Ensure the housekeeping team follows SOPs for daily upkeep and cleanliness.
- Conduct regular workspace walkthroughs to check cleanliness, hygiene standards, and readiness of amenities (pantry, washrooms, seating areas, etc.).
- Coordinate with vendors for any minor maintenance or cleaning needs.




- Track and report service or cleanliness issues to the Community Manager and follow up until resolved.

Qualifications and skills:

- 0-1 year of experience
- A natural communicator—friendly, respectful, and responsive.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Hindi and/or Bengali is a bonus.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy (comfortable using CRMs, spreadsheets, and office software).
- A team player who enjoys solving problems and thrives in a rapid-paced environment.
- A self-starter, eager to learn, grow, and take initiative.
