Duties

- Install, configure, and test audiovisual equipment including video conferencing systems, audio systems, control systems, and digital signal processors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AV equipment, control systems, software glitches, and network connectivity swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for AV system installation and maintenance projects.
- Operate and manage live event AV production projects, ensuring high-quality audio-visual delivery with attention to detail.
- Perform routine maintenance on AV equipment, including cabling, mechanical components, and electrical connections using hand tools and testing devices such as voltmeters.
- Support telecommunication setups and ensure proper integration of AV systems within broader building infrastructure.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for system installation, upgrades, troubleshooting,



or repairs while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Assist in training end-users on AV system operation including video conferencing platforms and control interfaces.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of electrical schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and schematics related to AV systems installation.
- Proficiency in control system programming for audiovisual setups and experience working with digital signal processing technologies.
- Hands-on experience with AV equipment troubleshooting across various brands and models; familiarity with software troubleshooting is essential.
- Expertise in implementing audio systems, video conferencing solutions, telecommunication setups, and networked AV environments.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools effectively for cabling and equipment installation tasks.
- Ability to read electrical schematics accurately and interpret technical diagrams for complex AV installations.
- Experience working in the AV industry or related field service roles involving live events or fixed installations.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components relevant to AV control systems and troubleshooting software issues.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with clear communication to assist clients effectively during system setup or troubleshooting sessions.
