Key Responsibilities

1. Project & Operations Management

- Oversee the complete execution of interior fit-out projects from project initiation to final handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, priorities, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Identify operational issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Ensure proper coordination between design, estimation, procurement, execution, and project management teams.

2. Team Leadership & Management

- Lead and manage Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Estimators, and other operational staff.
- Allocate responsibilities and resources based on project requirements.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance, support, and direction.
- Conduct regular project and operational review meetings.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, discipline, and professional standards.

3. Client & Consultant Coordination

- Maintain strong qualified relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Attend client meetings and project review meetings when required.
- Understand client requirements and ensure they are properly communicated to the project team.
- Handle escalations, project concerns, and critical client issues effectively.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout project execution and handover.

4. Cost & Commercial Management

- Review project budgets, quotations, estimates, variations, and cost implications.
- Coordinate with the Estimation and Accounts Departments regarding project costing and commercial matters.
- Monitor project profitability and control unnecessary expenses.
- Review variation orders, additional works, and client approvals.
- Ensure proper documentation for billing, payments, and project-related commercial activities.

5. Procurement & Vendor Management

- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Review material requirements and project procurement schedules.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and contractors.




- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure materials and services meet approved specifications, quality, and budget requirements.

6. Quality Control

- Ensure all interior fit-out works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with site teams to identify and rectify quality issues.
- Ensure proper inspection and approval of completed works.
- Minimize rework, material wastage, and execution defects.

7. Project Planning & Reporting

- Review project schedules and monitor actual progress against planned targets.
- Prepare and review weekly and monthly project performance reports.
- Track project costs, manpower, materials, productivity, and completion status.
- Escalate major delays, risks, and operational issues to senior management.
- Maintain proper project documentation and records.

8. Health, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with company policies, site safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Promote safe working practices across all project sites.
- Ensure appropriate safety procedures are followed by employees, contractors, and subcontractors.

9. Project Handover & Closure

- Ensure snagging, rectification, testing, and final inspection are completed properly.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants for final handover.
- Ensure all project documents, drawings, warranties, and completion records are properly submitted.
- Conduct project closure reviews and identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in Project Management or Business Management will be an advantage.

Experience

- 10+ years of relevant experience in interior fit-out, construction, commercial interiors, or project management.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and leading project teams.
- Strong experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, office, retail, or similar interior fit-out projects.

Authority & Decision-Making

The General Manager – Interior Fit-Out Operations is expected to take operational decisions within the approved company policies, project budgets, and delegated authority, while escalating major commercial, contractual, financial, or strategic matters to senior management.

Overall Responsibility

To lead the Interior Fit-Out Operations division efficiently and profitably, ensuring timely project delivery, quality execution, cost control, client satisfaction, team performance, and sustainable business growth.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
