JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT – INVENTORY

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Accountant – Inventory to support our Accounts and Stock Point operations. The candidate will be primarily responsible for inventory accounting, stock records, inward/outward entries, stock reconciliation and Tally operations.

The ideal candidate should have a B.Com degree, good knowledge of Tally, and practical understanding of inventory and stock management.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily stock and inventory records at the stock point.
- Record and verify material inward and outward transactions.
- Enter purchase, sales, stock transfer and other inventory-related transactions in Tally.
- Maintain proper records of GRN, invoices, delivery challans, stock transfer notes and other stock documents.
- Monitor stock received from factory/warehouse and stock dispatched to distributors/customers.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Identify and report stock shortages, excesses, damages, expiry and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Sales, Dispatch, Store, Warehouse and Accounts teams regarding stock-related issues.
- Prepare daily/weekly stock statements and inventory reports.
- Assist in stock reconciliation and month-end closing.
- Ensure proper documentation for all stock movements.




- Track batch-wise and expiry-wise inventory, wherever applicable.
- Ensure timely updating of inventory records in Tally.
- Support the Accounts team in routine accounting and documentation work.
- Perform other inventory/accounts-related duties assigned by management.

Qualification

- B.Com / B.Com (Hons.) from a recognized institution.
- Tally knowledge is mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Candidates with knowledge of inventory accounting/stock point operations will be preferred.

Experience

- 0–3 years of experience in Accounts, Inventory, Warehouse Accounts or Stock Point operations.
- Freshers with strong Tally knowledge and good understanding of inventory may also be considered.

Salary

₹13,000 – ₹16,000 per month, depending on qualification, experience and suitability.
