We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery Merchandiser with a strong eye for design. The ideal candidate must excel in design understanding and product selection, ensuring our collections are trend-driven, commercially viable, and aligned with brand aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

Design Understanding & Product Selection (Primary Focus)

- Evaluate and select jewellery designs based on aesthetics, trends, market demand, and brand identity.
- Collaborate with designers and production teams to refine designs and create commercially appealing collections.
- Provide design feedback, suggest improvements, and ensure the final output matches quality and style expectations.

Product Development & Planning

- Develop product assortments and seasonal collections rooted in strong design judgement.
- Prepare detailed product sheets, costing, and purchase orders.
- Ensure accurate sampling and timely development of recent designs.

Market Research & Trend Analysis

- Identify fashion trends, materials, stones, and silhouettes suitable for jewellery collections.
- Analyse competitor designs, customer preferences, and global jewellery movements to guide selection.

Inventory & Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with vendors for sampling, production quality, and timelines.




- Manage design approvals, stones, materials, and overall finishing standards.
- Track inventory and ensure best-selling designs are replenished.

Sales Performance & Reporting

- Review sales data to understand which designs perform well and why.
- Recommend design-driven strategies for fast/slow-moving SKUs.
- Maintain detailed SKU records, pricing, and catalogues.

Requirements

- Strong design sense with the ability to evaluate, select, and refine jewellery designs (must-have).
- Bachelor’s degree in Jewellery Design, Fashion, Merchandising, or similar field.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in jewellery or fashion merchandising.
- Good understanding of jewellery materials, stones, and production.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Sheets and data handling.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of CAD, renderings, or jewellery design software is an added plus.
- Understanding of gemstones, plating, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to work with multiple vendors and tight timelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
