Job Responsibilities :

.

1. Undertake plantations & maintenance of Horticulture species

2. Prepare calendar of operations for all plantations in his areas and get them approved from HOD

3. Prepare scope of work regarding maintenance of plantations in respective areas in consultation with HOD

4. Prepare budget estimates and submit in time his input requirements for procurement

5. Monitor and take timely control measures for diseases and pests in his area

6. Maintain drip irrigation systems in order

7. Undertake R & D trials on various inputs

8. Harvest and dispose off the produce as required

9. Maintain prescribed records & Submit MIS

10. Safety of plantations, produce , installations and Safety of contractors manpower





Education Requirement :

Should have MSc(Hort.) Or M. Sc.(Agri.) with 10 years# experience in Horticulture plantation management OR B.Sc.(Hort.)/(Agri.) with 15 years# experience of managing Horticulture plantations

Experience Requirement :

Should have MSc(Hort.) Or M. Sc.(Agri.) with 10 years# experience in Horticulture plantation management OR B.Sc.(Hort.)/(Agri.) with 15 years# experience of managing Horticulture plantations

Skills & Competencies :

1. Should have knowledge and experience in latest trends in Horticulture

2. Should be computer savvy with working knowledge of CAD software

3. Should have positive communication skills

4. Should possess leadership qualities
