About the Role

Avanti Fellows is looking for a Junior Program Associate – Scholarships to support students through the scholarship application journey. This role involves student outreach, counseling, application support, follow-ups, data management, and communication.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with students, working toward measurable targets, and managing outreach activities in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct outbound calls to inform students about scholarship opportunities and guide them through applications.
- Respond to student queries through calls and WhatsApp groups.
- Drive scholarship applications through regular follow-ups and application support.
- Maintain accurate student and application records using Google Sheets.
- Track daily outreach activities, call outcomes, and application status.
- Create simple scholarship communication materials using Canva.
- Collect testimonials and success stories from scholarship recipients.




- Participate in occasional school visits for scholarship outreach.

Requirements

- Any graduate degree; Science background preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in telecalling, customer support, or the education sector.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and at least one regional language; Punjabi, Marathi, or Telugu preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite, especially Google Sheets and Forms.
- Strong verbal communication and student engagement skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, target-driven environment.
- Access to a personal laptop/computer and reliable internet connection.
