CNC Milling / CNC Turning Operator & Quality Check – Role Overview

We are looking for skilled and motivated candidates for CNC Milling Operator, CNC Turning Operator, and Quality Check/Inspector positions in our manufacturing facility.

The selected candidates will be responsible for operating and setting CNC machines, producing precision components as per engineering drawings, and ensuring that finished components meet the required dimensional and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Milling and CNC Turning machines as per production requirements.

Load and unload raw materials, tools, fixtures, and components correctly.

Read and understand engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications.

Understand and, where required, edit or make basic adjustments to CNC programs, G-code, and M-code.

Perform milling, turning, drilling, cutting, facing, threading, and other machining operations as required.

Carry out tool setting, job setting, tool offset adjustments, and basic machine corrections.

Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy, productivity, and surface finish.

Conduct test runs and first-piece inspections before starting regular production.

Inspect components during and after machining to ensure compliance with dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements.

Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, and other inspection gauges.

Identify and report dimensional deviations, defects, and non-conforming components.

Maintain inspection and production records accurately.





Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams to resolve machining and quality-related issues.

Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance to ensure smooth machine operation.

Report machine breakdowns, tooling issues, and other equipment-related problems to the concerned supervisor.

Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Follow all company quality, safety, and production procedures.

Work effectively with team members to achieve production schedules and quality targets.

Quality Check / Inspection Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final inspection of CNC-machined components.

Verify component dimensions against engineering drawings and specified tolerances.

Ensure components meet customer and internal quality requirements.

Maintain proper inspection reports and quality documentation.

Segregate and report rejected or non-conforming components.

Support corrective actions and continuous improvement activities related to product quality.

Candidate Requirements

ITI / Diploma / Engineering qualification in Mechanical or related discipline preferred.

Relevant experience in CNC Milling, CNC Turning, or Quality Inspection will be an advantage.

Knowledge of engineering drawings, machining processes, and measuring instruments.

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work in a manufacturing setting and follow shift timings.

Candidates with relevant experience in Aerospace, Defence, Precision Engineering, or General Engineering will be preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
