What if you could build the financial news brand you've always wanted to work for?

We are building MoneyGeeks from scratch — a digital-first financial news and media company designed for the today's generation.

India has no shortage of business publications, financial websites and market channels. What we believe is missing is a strong, independent, personality-driven financial news brand that combines serious journalism with exceptional storytelling.

That's what we're building.

And we're looking for experienced journalists / hosts / presenters to be the faces responsible for making it happen.

This is not a teleprompter job.

You won't simply be handed a script and asked to read it.

You'll help decide:

What should we cover?
Why does it matter?
How do we explain it?
Who should we interview?
And how do we make millions of people care about it?

You'll research stories, develop ideas, write and refine scripts, conduct interviews and present original content across YouTube, our website and social platforms.

Over time, you'll have the opportunity to help build new shows, formats and editorial franchises under the MoneyGeeks brand.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has professional experience in journalism, news, business media or television
- Is genuinely strong on camera
- Can conduct an intelligent, engaging interview
- Has excellent storytelling and communication skills
- Knows how to ask the next question—not just the obvious one
- Can understand and explain complex subjects in simple language
- Has an instinct for what makes a story interesting
- Is comfortable researching independently and developing original stories
- Is curious about business, markets, companies, economics and money
- Wants to build a media brand, not just occupy a designation

You don't need to be a finance expert. We can build the financial expertise around you. What we can't easily teach is journalistic instinct, presence, curiosity and storytelling ability.

Why this role is different

You will be joining at the beginning.

There is no established newsroom telling you what your show should look like.

No legacy format.

No decades-old editorial hierarchy.

No "this is how we've always done it."

You'll have the opportunity to help shape what MoneyGeeks becomes.

The right person could eventually become one of the most recognisable faces in India's financial media.

What you'll do

- Present daily short and long-form financial news for YouTube
- Develop original story ideas and explainers
- Research business, economic and financial developments
- Write and refine video scripts
- Interview founders, CEOs, economists, investors, policymakers and other newsmakers
- Turn complicated financial stories into compelling narratives
- Collaborate with researchers, writers, producers and editors
- Develop recurring shows and editorial formats
- Represent MoneyGeeks at interviews, events and industry interactions
- Help establish the editorial voice and on-camera identity of the brand

Experience

3+ years of professional experience in journalism, television, digital media, business news or a related field preferred. Freshers can apply too. Strong command over Hindi/English is required.

Experienced candidates with a strong body of work are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Competitive, based on experience and capability.

For the right person, we are open to discussing performance incentives and long-term growth opportunities as the company scales.

How to Apply

Don't just send us a CV. We want to be able to judge you.

Please submit:

1. CV / qualified profile
2. Links to your best work, interviews or videos (if any)
3. A 60–90 second video introducing yourself (Google Drive/Dropbox/YouTube link)

In the video, tell us: If you had to build India's next big financial media brand, what would you have done differently.

We are not looking for someone who is merely looking for their next job. We're looking for someone who wants to build something.

Thank you.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
