Role Description The Piping Stress Engineer at Cittron Engineering is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. This role involves performing piping stress analysis and calculations to ensure protected, reliable, and code-compliant piping systems for industrial facilities, including refineries and process plants. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing piping design layouts and isometrics, building and running stress models in specialized software, evaluating flexibility, loads, and support requirements, and preparing detailed technical reports and documentation. The role also includes coordinating with piping design, mechanical, and civil teams, resolving field and design queries, and supporting project engineers during design reviews and client discussions.



The engineer is expected to apply relevant codes, standards, and best practices while maintaining a strong focus on safety, constructability, and long-term operability.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform detailed engineering calculations and stress analysis for piping systems using appropriate tools and methods.
- Knowledge of piping design, including layouts, isometrics, supports, and materials, and understanding of practical design and construction constraints.
- Experience working with piping systems in refineries or similar process industries, with familiarity with industrial standards and operating conditions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; advanced coursework in piping or stress analysis is an advantage.
- Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards (such as ASME B31 series or equivalent) is beneficial.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams in an on-site environment.
- Prior experience with specialized piping stress analysis software (e.g., CAESAR II or similar) is preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
