Job Title: Weighbridge Operator

Job Summary

The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for accurately weighing all incoming and outgoing vehicles, recording vehicle and material details, preparing weighment slips, maintaining proper documentation, and coordinating with dispatch, stores, security, and other departments to ensure smooth material movement.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate the computerized/electronic weighbridge system.
- Record gross weight, tare weight, and net weight accurately.
- Verify vehicle number, driver details, material details, challans, invoices, delivery notes and other relevant documents.
- Generate and issue weighment slips, gate passes and related documents.
- Maintain daily inward and outward vehicle/weighment records.
- Enter transactions accurately into weighbridge software, ERP or Excel.
- Coordinate with dispatch, stores, production, security and logistics teams.
- Direct vehicles for loading/unloading and maintain smooth vehicle movement.
- Identify and immediately report discrepancies in weight, material or documentation.
- Monitor the weighbridge system and report technical problems or abnormal readings.
- Maintain proper filing of weighment records and prepare daily/monthly reports.




- Follow company procedures, safety requirements and applicable weights-and-measures regulations.
- Communicate professionally with drivers, transporters and visitors.

Required Qualifications

- 10th / 12th pass; Diploma or Graduate preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and data-entry skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and weighbridge software is an advantage.
- Good numerical and record-keeping ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Previous experience in weighbridge operations, dispatch or logistics is preferred.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
