Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in interior design and project procurement to manage the sourcing and timely procurement of materials, furniture, fixtures, and other project requirements while ensuring quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement for interior design and fit-out projects.
- Source and evaluate vendors for materials, furniture, fixtures, hardware, electrical, plumbing, and other interior requirements.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate with suppliers, and finalize orders.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project schedules.
- Coordinate with the Design, Project, Site, and Accounts teams to understand material requirements.
- Prepare and process purchase orders based on approved requirements and quotations.
- Monitor material quality, specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor and supplier network.
- Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery conditions.
- Track pending orders and follow up with vendors to avoid project delays.
- Coordinate with site teams for material inspection and delivery.
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, comparative statements,



purchase orders, and vendor documentation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Handle material returns, replacements, shortages, and quality-related issues with vendors.
- Maintain updated records of material rates and supplier details.

Requirements

- Diploma / Degree in Purchase, Supply Chain, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in interior design, construction, or project procurement.
- Good knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, hardware, electrical, plumbing, and related products.
- Solid vendor negotiation and sourcing skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
