1. Job Description: CDP (Chef de Partie) Bakery

Role Overview: Takes full ownership of the cafe's bakery section, ensuring daily production of breads, viennoiseries, and cakes meets high quality and aesthetic standards.

- Production Management: Prepare daily batches of artisan breads, croissants, puffs, muffins, and tarts according to the cafe menu.
- Supervision: Guide, train, and assign daily prep tasks to Commis 1, 2, and 3.
- Quality Control: Check taste, texture, weight, and final visual presentation of all baked items before display.
- Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels of flour, butter, chocolate, and packaging, reporting replenishment needs to the Head Chef.
- Menu Support: Assist the head pastry/bakery chef in innovating and testing new seasonal cafe items.
- Hygiene Enforcement: Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP) and spotless station cleanliness.

Requirements:
2 to 4 years of commercial baking experience.




Diploma or certification in Bakery & Confectionery / Culinary Arts (preferred)

2. Job Description: Commis 2 Bakery

Role Overview: Reports directly to the CDP, executing fundamental preparation and assisting in active baking shifts.

- Mise en Place: Weigh, measure, sift, and mix dry and wet ingredients accurately based on recipes.
- Prep & Operation: Assist in kneading dough, lining trays, filling pastry bags, and operating provers or ovens safely.
- Assisted Baking: Finish, glaze, or decorate basic baked goods under the direct instruction of the CDP.
- Cleanliness: Maintain clean work tables, wash mixing bowls, sanitize tools, and store leftover ingredients in labelled containers.
- Stock Rotation: Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) rules for storing raw materials and finished goods.

Requirements:
min. 6 months of hands-on experience in a cafe or bakery kitchen.
Basic knowledge of baking science, hygiene, and protected equipment handling
