Job description : QC Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

- Knowledge of Electrical Equipments such as Power Transformers,LV,MV & HT Switch Gears,CT&PT;, CVT, LA CRP, SCADA , PLCC & FOTE, cables wires, lighting, Cable trays, DGs, bus bar, HT & LT Panel upto 400 KV
- Knowledge of IS & IEE Standards
- Knowledge in Preparation of Quality Protocols & Formats
- Familiar with Electrical regulatory laws & Inspection procedures
- Develop inspection methods
- Internal quality audits across sites.
- Should be aware of ISO 9001 quality requirements
- Perform material inspection along with the Client Inspection teams
- Planning & Scheduling Client inspections for the equipment’s for substation and transmission lines up to 400 KV
- Training of the site teams and workers on quality requirements and safety requirements in electrical with regards to Erection ,Storage of Equipment, earthing & its connections, proper termination, testing procedures, cable laying, etc.
- To ensure that in-process and final inspection are carried out.
- To initiate corrective actions for the non-conformances.
- To monitor the nonconformance at customer end and to initiate corrective & preventive actions.




- Improve product quality by making recommendations for change
- Work together with Client teams and departments
- Ensure products adhere to client and industry quality standards
- Documenting results and findings after inspections are carried out and obtaining Client Clearances for Dispatch of materials
- Implement a working system to ensure conformity and accuracy
- Monitoring Site QAQC activities

Qualifications for Quality Engineer

- Bachelors degree in engineering preferred
- Extensive experience in a quality assurance/Quality control environment required
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- In-depth understanding of inspection procedures and Standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work efficiently in a team environment
