About the Role

- As the National Resource Planner & Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising the deployment of O’Brien’s operational workforce and associated resources across Service and Project operations nationally.
- Working closely with Service Coordinators, State Service Managers, Project Managers and operational leaders, you will ensure the right people and resources are allocated to the right work, at the right time and location. This will involve considering employee availability, geographic location, skills and competencies, licences, customer and site requirements, travel, operational priorities and cost.
- This role also plays an important part in maintaining a forward national resource plan, identifying capacity constraints and scheduling conflicts early, and developing practical resourcing options to support customer commitments and operational requirements.
- The National Resource Planner & Scheduler will help improve workforce utilisation, reduce avoidable travel and downtime, and provide explicit resource-planning information and reporting to support safe, efficient and commercially responsible decision-making

Scope of Work:

- As the National Resource Planner & Scheduler, you will provide a centralised view of O’Brien’s workforce demand, availability and capacity across Service and Project operations nationally
- The role is focused on improving how operational resources are planned and shared across the business, helping O’Brien meet customer commitments while balancing workforce availability, capability,



location, travel, cost and operational priorities
- Working across teams and states, you will support informed resourcing decisions, identify future constraints and help establish a consistent national approach to workforce planning and scheduling

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a rolling 4 to 12-week national workforce schedule
- Gather and consolidate resource requirements from Service and Project teams
- Allocate employees based on availability, location, skills, licences, competencies and site requirements
- Coordinate resource movements between branches, states, Service and Projects.
- Identify scheduling conflicts, shortages and capability gaps, and recommend practical solutions
- Update schedules when priorities change due to breakdowns, absences, customer requests or project delays
- Support workforce planning for shutdowns, commissioning, installations and major projects
- Monitor utilisation, downtime, overtime, travel and mobilisation requirements
- Maintain accurate scheduling data, dashboards and reports
- Communicate confirmed allocations, changes and unresolved constraints to relevant stakeholders

We're Looking for Someone Who Has

- Experience in workforce scheduling, resource planning, project planning, service coordination or a similar operational role
- Strong forward-planning skills and the ability to balance changing and competing priorities
- Confidence working across teams and locations, including constructively resolving resource conflicts
- Strong computer literacy, with experience using scheduling, ERP, project, field-service or workforce-management systems
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Sound commercial judgement, with an understanding of how scheduling affects utilisation, overtime, travel, cost and customer delivery

As this role supports Australian operations, flexibility in working hours is required to align with business needs. This is an office-based role.

Pay: ₹105,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
