The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for managing daily cash operations, ensuring accurate fee collection, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance department in routine accounting tasks. This role requires attention to detail, integrity, and efficiency in handling monetary transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Daily cash handling: Collect, count, and reconcile cash received from students/customers on a daily basis.
- Fee collection management: Issue receipts, record payments, and update fee registers or accounting software.
- Bank deposits: Prepare and deposit collected cash/cheques into the designated bank accounts.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate ledgers, fee registers, and transaction logs.
- Reporting: Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the Accounts Officer/Manager.
- Compliance:



Ensure adherence to financial policies, audit requirements, and internal controls.
- Support tasks: Assist in preparing monthly reconciliations, fee statements, and other accounting documents.

ualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in cash handling, fee collection, or accounting support.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Robust numerical and analytical ability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
