Key Responsibilities

- Obtain and negotiate air freight rates from airlines, co-loaders, and overseas agents.
- Prepare and provide air export quotations to customers and the sales team.
- Compare airline rates, transit times, routing, and service options to identify the most competitive solution.
- Maintain and update air freight rate sheets, tariff files, and pricing databases.
- Coordinate with airlines and agents for spot rates and special quotations.
- Calculate complete freight charges including:
- Air freight
- Fuel surcharge
- Security surcharge
- Handling charges
- Documentation charges
- Pickup/delivery charges
- Other applicable origin charges
- Ensure quotations are accurate and submitted within the required turnaround time.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams regarding pricing and shipment requirements.
- Check shipment details such as origin, destination,



chargeable weight, commodity, dimensions, and routing before quoting.
- Monitor market rates and competitor pricing to maintain competitive quotations.
- Follow up with customers/sales team on quotations and support conversion of inquiries into bookings.
- Maintain proper records of quotations, rate approvals, and customer-specific rates.
- Support management with pricing reports, rate comparisons, and market updates.
- Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and airline agreements.
