Position: Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Pet & Veterinary

Job Location- Hyderabad

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager – Pet & Veterinary to lead and drive business growth . The RSM will be responsible for developing the regional market, achieving sales targets, managing distributors and channel partners, strengthening relationships with veterinarians and key customers, and expanding the company's presence across the Pet & Veterinary segment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for the India market.

Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and revenue targets.

Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer and distributor network.

Develop new markets, territories and customer segments within the assigned region.

Drive sales of the company's Pet & Veterinary product portfolio.

Maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners and ensure regular business generation.

Monitor distributor performance, inventory, secondary sales and market coverage.

Ensure optimum product availability and distribution across assigned territories.

Identify gaps in distribution and implement corrective measures.

Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinarians, veterinary clinics, hospitals, pet practitioners, pet shops and key institutional customers.

Lead,



guide and motivate the regional sales team, where applicable.

Set territory-wise targets and monitor individual performance.

Ensure effective territory coverage and productivity.

Track market trends, competitor activities, pricing, product launches and promotional strategies.

Prepare regional sales forecasts, business plans and territory-wise action plans. Maintain accurate sales reports, distributor data and market information.

Plan and execute product promotion activities, veterinary meets, seminars, conferences and customer engagement programs.

Support recent product launches and ensure effective market penetration.

Requirements:

5–10 years of relevant sales experience in the Veterinary, Animal Health, Pet Care, Pet Pharma or related healthcare industry.

Candidates with strong experience in veterinary products, pet products, animal health products or veterinary pharmaceuticals will be preferred.

Prior experience in managing the region will be highly desirable Strong regional sales and business development skills.

Ability to manage large territories and extensive field operations. Willingness to travel across the North Region. Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
