As a Regional Manager – Corporate Relations, the candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding Chennai Institute of Technology’s corporate footprint and industry partnerships across the assigned region. This role demands a proactive approach to building strategic corporate alliances, facilitating industry-academia collaborations, driving placement and internship opportunities, and managing key stakeholder relationships to convert high-potential leads into long-term institutional partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Corporate Alliances: Lead the generation, development, and closure of corporate partnerships, MOUs, and industry-academia collaborations within the allocated region.
- Lead Generation & Market Outreach: Work with prospect corporate databases to convert initial leads into qualified business opportunities, coordinating closely with central placement and leadership teams.
- Corporate Events & Thought Leadership: Liaison with internal departments to organize Corporate Conclaves, HR Summits, CXO Roundtables, Guest Lectures, and Industry Seminars to elevate CIT’s brand presence in the target market.
- Database & Relationship Management: Maintain, validate, and update key decision-maker details (HR Heads, Campus Recruiters, CTOs, CSR Heads) within the CRM/marketing database, ensuring accurate reporting and follow-ups.
- Market Intelligence & Expansion: Conduct continuous market research to identify emerging sectors, new corporate hubs, and untapped hiring markets to expand CIT's outreach.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with academic departments, center of excellence teams, and skill development divisions to align corporate training, joint research, and consultancy requirements with industry needs.




- Placements & Internships: Drive campus hiring drives, executive placements, and summer/winter internships by onboarding top-tier recruiters, MNCs, and emerging industry leaders.

Skill Requirements

- Self-Driven & Strategic: Self-motivated professional with a proven track record of target achievement in corporate relations, academic placement, or enterprise business development.
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation and C-level negotiation capabilities.
- Regional & Travel Willingness: High mobility with a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned regional territory.
- Domain Experience: Prior experience in corporate relations, university placements, institutional sales, or ed-tech enterprise partnerships.
- Digital & CRM Literacy: Proficient in database navigation, CRM usage, LinkedIn networking, and writing detailed follow-up notes for executive reporting.
- Professional Acumen: Mature attitude with the capability to engage in high-level business conversations and present tailored institutional solutions.
