3Wheels AI is building data infrastructure and proprietary datasets for next-generation AI systems. Our work includes sourcing, evaluating, structuring, anonymizing and preparing high-quality real-world datasets for AI model training.

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Head / Engineering Leader who can lead the technical strategy behind our code-data and AI-data initiatives.

Role Overview

As Technical Head – AI Data & Code Intelligence, you will be responsible for designing the technical architecture, data pipelines, repository-analysis systems and engineering processes required to acquire and prepare large-scale software engineering datasets for AI training.

The role combines Software Architecture, Engineering Leadership, Developer Ecosystems, Data Engineering and AI-training infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities1. Code Repository Intelligence

- Design systems to analyze large-scale GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and private repositories.
- Build automated pipelines to extract repository metadata including:
- Lines of Code (LOC)
- Commits
- Pull Requests
- PR comments/reviews
- Contributors
- Repository age
- Development span
- Languages and technology stack
- Branch history
- CI/CD activity
- Issue and ticket activity
- Develop scoring systems to identify high-value and mature codebases.
- Build systems capable of processing thousands of repositories efficiently.

2. AI Training Dataset Infrastructure

- Design data pipelines for transforming raw software repositories into AI-ready datasets.
- Develop repository ingestion, parsing, normalization and validation systems.
- Establish data-quality benchmarks for AI training datasets.
- Develop automated quality checks and repository-level scoring.
- Work with data procurement teams to technically evaluate potential datasets and vendors.

3. Data Privacy & Anonymization

- Design automated code/data sanitization pipelines.
- Identify and remove PII, credentials, secrets, API keys and sensitive information.
- Establish technical processes for secure handling of private repositories.




- Work with legal and data-procurement teams to ensure datasets satisfy licensing and usage requirements.

4. Engineering Leadership

- Lead and mentor engineering teams working on data infrastructure and AI-data products.
- Establish engineering standards, architecture principles and development workflows.
- Conduct technical reviews and architecture assessments.
- Recruit and build high-performing engineering teams.
- Work closely with founders and business teams on technical strategy.

5. Cloud & Infrastructure

- Design scalable infrastructure using AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Build containerized systems using Docker/Kubernetes where appropriate.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Design distributed processing systems for large repository datasets.
- Optimize infrastructure for cost, reliability and scalability.

6. AI / ML Collaboration

- Work closely with AI/ML teams to understand training-data requirements.
- Convert model-training requirements into practical data-engineering specifications.
- Design datasets suitable for code-generation, code-understanding, repository-level reasoning and software-engineering AI models.
- Support evaluation and benchmarking of datasets.

Required Technical Experience

- 12+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong experience in software architecture and system design.
- Solid hands-on experience with Node.js / TypeScript / Python or equivalent backend technologies.
- Strong understanding of Git and software development workflows.
- Experience with GitHub/GitLab APIs and repository data.
- Experience designing large-scale data processing pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong AWS/Azure/cloud architecture experience.
- Docker and CI/CD experience.
- Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of databases and data-storage architecture.

Repository → Extraction → Analysis → Anonymization → Quality Control → Dataset → AI Training

You will be expected to build the technical infrastructure that enables 3Wheels AI to acquire and process large volumes of high-quality private and enterprise software repositories.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is not only a strong software architect but also understands how real-world software is developed, maintained and evolved over multiple years.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with legacy systems, large repositories, complex engineering histories, cloud infrastructure and developer workflows.

Experience leading engineering teams and architecting SaaS/cloud platforms will be highly valuable.

Competitive compensation based on experience and technical leadership capability.
