A NICU staff nurse provides specialized, around-the-clock medical care for premature or critically ill newborn babies in a neonatal intensive care unit.

Key Responsibilities

- Patient Monitoring: Check vital signs, heart rates, and oxygen levels regularly.
- Clinical Care: Administer medications, manage IV lines, and assist with feedings.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and troubleshoot incubators, monitors, and ventilators.
- Infection Control: Maintain a clean, sterile environment to protect vulnerable infants.
- Family Support: Educate parents on holding, feeding, and caring for their baby at home.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- Skills: Strong emotional resilience, quick decision-making, and explicit communication.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
