Job description:

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring the timely availability of raw materials, machine components, standard parts, cutting tools, electrical items, pneumatic and hydraulic components, and consumables required for the manufacturing of CNC and VMC machines. The role focuses on cost optimization, supplier development, quality compliance, and uninterrupted production support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine components and engineering materials.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally Prime, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic reporting).
- Good communication, planning, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under production deadlines.
- On-time material availability.
- Purchase cost reduction and annual savings.
- Supplier on-time delivery performance.
- Purchase order accuracy.
- Inventory turnover and stock optimization.
- Supplier quality performance.
- Recent supplier development.
- Reduction in emergency purchases.
