JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

Position: Accounts & Manual Calculation Executive
Product: Veneers , Wooden Flooring , Wood, Plywood and Quartz etc

Job Profile:
We are looking for a detail-oriented person with excellent manual calculation skills to handle day-to-day accounts and commercial activities related to our wooden flooring and veneer business.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual calculations of quantities, rates and amounts for wooden flooring and veneers.
- Calculate flooring quantities in Square Feet (Sq. Ft.) and Square Metres (Sq. Mtr.).
- Convert Sq. Ft. to Sq. Mtr. and Sq. Mtr. to Sq. Ft. accurately.
- Calculate total value based on quantity × rate, including discounts and GST.
- Check and verify calculations on sales orders, quotations, challans and invoices.
- Prepare manual delivery challans based on material quantities and measurements.
- Prepare sales bills/invoices and ensure that all calculations are correct.
- Make calculations for flooring requirements, quantities, wastage and balance quantities wherever required.
- Prepare and process credit notes for returns, rate differences, shortages, excess billing and other adjustments.
- Check customer bills and identify any quantity, rate or calculation differences.
- Maintain customer and supplier accounts and assist with ledger reconciliation.
- Handle and maintain petty cash, including recording daily expenses and checking cash balances.
- Maintain records of cash receipts, payments, expenses, challans, invoices and credit notes.




- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse and Dispatch teams to verify quantities and documentation.
- Cross-check physical quantities with challans and invoices.
- Assist in general accounting entries and day-to-day bookkeeping.

MOST IMPORTANT SKILL

Strong manual calculation ability is mandatory.

The candidate should be able to confidently calculate:

Sq. Ft. → Sq. Mtr.
Sq. Mtr. → Sq. Ft.
Quantity × Rate
Discount calculations
GST calculations
Total invoice value
Balance quantity/value
Wastage calculations
Credit note adjustments

The candidate should be very comfortable working with numbers manually and checking calculations without depending entirely on software or calculators.

Required Skills

- Strong numerical accuracy
- Positive knowledge of Sq. Ft. and Sq. Mtr. measurements
- Basic knowledge of accounting
- Knowledge of GST and invoicing
- Good understanding of bills, challans and credit notes
- Ability to identify calculation mistakes
- Experience in wooden flooring, veneers, plywood, laminates, furniture or interior-material businesses will be an advantage.

Ideal Candidate

We are specifically looking for someone who is strong with numbers and manual calculations, rather than someone whose experience is limited to computer-based accounting.

Manual calculation accuracy + flooring measurement knowledge + basic accounting are the three most important requirements for this position.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
