Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced R&D; Assistant Manager with a strong background in spices and instant mixes to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of our spice blends, seasonings, and instant mix products. This position requires someone who is innovative, detail-oriented, and has a deep understanding of food science, product development processes, and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the development of recent spice blends, seasoning products, and instant mixes, from concept to commercialization.
- Conduct research on global spice trends, consumer preferences, and food formulations to ensure competitive product development.
- Formulate and optimize products for taste, texture, color, and shelf life while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and marketing, to bring new products to market.
- Perform sensory analysis, quality testing, and shelf-life studies to evaluate product performance.
- Manage product development timelines,



ensuring that projects are completed on schedule.
- Collaborate with suppliers for sourcing high-quality raw materials, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting production challenges related to spice blends and instant mixes.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documents to communicate R&D; progress and findings.
- Stay updated with industry trends, food regulations, and consumer needs to drive innovation in product development.

Required Qualifications:

- Experience: 6+ years of experience in R&D; within the food industry, with a strong emphasis on spice and instant mix product development.
- Education: A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of spice blending, instant mix formulations, and related food processing technologies.
- Proficiency in sensory analysis, product testing, and quality control.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and labeling guidelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong project management abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Creative thinking and innovation-driven mindset.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
