Job Title: Junior Production Engineer – Interior Design

Job Summary

The Junior Production Engineer supports day-to-day production activities for interior projects by coordinating between design, factory, and site teams. The role focuses on execution as per drawings, production planning support, quality compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support

- Assist in executing daily production activities as per approved drawings.
- Support production planning and follow up on daily targets.
- Monitor work progress on the shop floor and update seniors.
- Help identify production issues and assist in resolving them.

Drawing & Design Coordination

- Understand shop drawings, GFC drawings, and production drawings.
- Coordinate with the design team for clarifications and revisions.
- Ensure work is carried out as per latest approved drawings.

Quality & Process Control

- Conduct basic in-process quality checks.
- Coordinate with QC team for inspections and rectifications.
- Ensure finishing, dimensions, and materials meet quality standards.

Material & Inventory Coordination

- Coordinate with Stores for material issue and tracking.
- Monitor material usage and report shortages or wastage.




- Assist in maintaining material consumption records.

Site & Installation Support

- Support installation team during site execution.
- Attend site visits to resolve production-related issues.
- Ensure proper fitment and finishing at site.

Safety & Housekeeping

- Follow safety norms and ensure PPE usage.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic 5S practices on shop floor.

Skills & Competencies

- Basic understanding of interior production and fit-out processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Willingness to learn and take instructions.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.

Software Knowledge

- AutoCAD (basic to intermediate)
- MS Excel & MS Office

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Civil / Interior Design.
- 0–2 years of experience in interior production / manufacturing.
- Freshers with relevant technical exposure may apply.
