Hiring: Senior Backend Developer / Technical Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Backend Developer / Technical Team Lead who can lead complex backend projects while actively contributing to coding and technical architecture.

This is not a purely managerial role. The ideal candidate should be a strong technical leader capable of solving complex engineering challenges, making architectural decisions, mentoring developers, and building scalable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Own projects throughout the complete lifecycle—from planning and development to delivery and review.
- Design and evolve scalable system architecture across multiple services and domains.
- Lead hands-on backend development and solve complex technical challenges.
- Define API standards, data architecture, coding patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Architect event-driven systems and asynchronous processing, including Celery.
- Handle complex challenges related to scalability, reliability, performance, and distributed systems.
- Make key architectural decisions regarding technology selection, databases, system boundaries, and integrations.
- Review code and technical designs and guide team-wide technical decisions.
- Lead and mentor backend developers while maintaining high engineering standards.
- Own non-functional requirements including security, performance, reliability, and observability.




- Apply strong relational data modeling and query optimization practices at scale.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on Backend Development experience.
- Strong expertise in Python, Django, and FastAPI.
- Experience with REST APIs, API architecture, and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of Celery, Redis, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architecture.
- Excellent understanding of PostgreSQL/MySQL, relational database design, and query optimization.
- Experience designing scalable and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, security, performance optimization, and reliability.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Solid leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

AI & Automation Exposure

- Experience or strong knowledge of AI integrations, LLMs, Generative AI, and AI APIs.
- Understanding of AI-powered applications and automation workflows.
- Experience integrating tools such as OpenAI APIs or similar AI platforms will be an advantage.

Experience: 5+ Years

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
