Job Summary

We are looking for a Logistics Executive to support courier and logistics operations, shipment tracking, vendor coordination, cost monitoring, and logistics reporting. The ideal candidate should be organized, analytical, willing to learn, and interested in developing a career in logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

Courier & Shipment Management

- Track inbound and outbound courier shipments across different lanes.
- Maintain accurate shipment and courier cost records.
- Coordinate with courier/logistics vendors for timely dispatch and delivery.
- Follow up on delayed, missing, or returned shipments.
- Maintain proper documentation related to logistics activities.

Courier Cost Monitoring

- Track courier expenditure across all lanes.
- Maintain a detailed courier cost log and update shipment-wise expenses.
- Verify courier bills and identify discrepancies.
- Support the team in analysing high-cost routes and unnecessary shipments.

Logistics Data Analysis

- Analyse basic courier and shipment data to identify:
- High-cost routes.
- Redundant shipments.
- Underutilized courier contracts.
- Opportunities for cost reduction.
- Prepare basic MIS reports related to shipment volume and courier expenditure.

Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with multiple courier and logistics vendors.
- Collect and compare courier rates and service details.
- Support the evaluation of vendors based on cost, delivery performance, service quality, and coverage.
- Maintain vendor records and performance data.

Rate & SLA Support

- Assist senior team members in rate negotiations and contract reviews with courier companies.
- Monitor agreed courier rates and service terms.




- Track vendor adherence to SLA and delivery timelines.
- Escalate service issues and deviations to the concerned team.

Cost Optimization

- Identify opportunities to consolidate shipments and reduce courier costs.
- Support the team in selecting economical dispatch modes based on urgency, distance, and shipment size.
- Suggest practical ways to improve logistics efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenses.

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly logistics reports as required.
- Track shipment volumes, courier expenditure, delivery performance, and vendor performance.
- Support monthly reporting of courier cost savings and performance metrics.

Required Skills

- Willingness to learn logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work with multiple vendors and internal teams.

Qualification

- Any Graduate.
- Preferred: B.Com / BBA / BBM / Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.

Experience

Fresher to 1 Year experience in:

- Logistics
- Courier operations
- Supply Chain
- Transportation

- Dispatch / Distribution

Ideal Candidate

A detail-oriented and proactive fresher or junior professional who is comfortable working with Excel, numbers, vendors, and shipment data, with a strong interest in building a career in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per year
