Job Description

Kailash Solar is looking for a skilled and responsible Field Technician to join our solar installation and service team in Meerut.

The role involves solar system installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, servicing, and resolving technical issues at customer sites. The technician will be responsible for completing assigned projects properly and ensuring that any technical problem at the site is identified and resolved efficiently.

The ideal candidate should have a strong practical understanding of rooftop solar systems and their electrical/technical components and should be able to diagnose and solve common solar system problems independently at the site.

Responsibilities

- Handle residential rooftop solar installation and project completion
- Install and commission solar panels, inverters, mounting structures and related equipment
- Troubleshoot solar system and electrical problems at customer sites
- Identify faults and provide appropriate technical solutions
- Handle inverter, wiring, connection, generation and system-related issues
- Conduct solar system servicing and maintenance
- Visit customer sites for technical inspections and service requests
- Ensure projects are completed properly and within the required timeline
- Coordinate with the installation, sales and office teams
- Explain basic technical issues and solutions to customers when required
- Maintain proper records of site visits, services and completed work




- Follow electrical and site safety procedures

Requirements

- Practical knowledge of rooftop solar systems is required
- Good understanding of solar panels, inverters, wiring, electrical connections and system troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems at the customer site
- Experience with solar installation and servicing preferred
- Own bike/two-wheeler is required
- Valid driving licence
- Comfortable travelling to different customer sites in Meerut and nearby areas
- Good communication and team coordination skills
- Responsible, punctual and willing to work in the field
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks properly

What We’re Looking For

We need a technician who doesn't just identify a technical problem, but can understand the cause and find a practical solution at the site.

Experience with residential rooftop solar systems will be highly preferred.

Salary

Fixed monthly salary as per industry standards, based on skills and experience.
