Job Description:

· Editing the raw manuscript as per the instructions provided and make it error free.

· Checking the styles, punctuations, and spellings and ensuring the customer provided stylesheet is followed.

· Structuring and ordering of the files and raise author queries as required.

· Short tagging as per XML requirements and tagging of the index entries.

· References as per the style guide and footnotes, for technical accuracy and placement of citations.

· Ensuring all the elements (figures, text, boxes, tables etc.) are properly presented in the manuscript and consistent.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Should have valuable written and spoken knowledge in English.

· Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in style editing/pre-editing.

· Knowledge in style guides such as CMS and APA are preferred.

· Must have an eye for details.

· Candidate from Books/Journals background is preferred.

· Experience in STM/Fiction/Non-fiction books are an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
