A Head of IT and Networking is a senior executive responsible for leading an organization's technology infrastructure, team leadership, and network architecture. They bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring all data, cloud and communication systems are secure, scalable and highly available.Core Responsibilities Infrastructure & Network Leadership: Architect, implement and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure) to support continuous, 24/7 business operations.

IT Strategy & Budgeting: Develop long-term IT roadmaps, manage departmental budgets, and oversee vendor negotiations for software licensing, hardware and telecommunications.

Cybersecurity & Compliance: Establish robust security frameworks including firewalls, zero-trust policies,



access controls and regular vulnerability assessments.

Disaster Recovery: Formulate and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) plans to ensure zero data loss and minimal operational downtime.

Team Management: Recruit, mentor and lead teams of network engineers, IT administrators and helpdesk support, driving OKRs and performance evaluations.

Key Requirements Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

Experience:7 Years and above
