Job Title: SAP R2R Consultant - Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR)

We are seeking an experienced SAP R2R Consultant with robust expertise in Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), Revenue Recognition, and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) solutions in SAP S/4HANA environments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS 15 and ASC 606. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting end-to-end revenue recognition processes, contract accounting, performance obligation management, and integration with SAP SD, FI, and other upstream systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR)

- Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) solutions.
- Configure revenue recognition processes in compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 requirements.
- Manage:
- Revenue Contracts
- Performance Obligations (POBs)
- Revenue Allocation
- Revenue Recognition and Deferrals
- Contract Modifications
- Revenue Adjustments

- Support periodic revenue postings, accruals, and accounting adjustments.

Record-to-Report (R2R)

- Support end-to-end R2R processes with a focus on revenue accounting and reporting.
- Ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end revenue close activities.
- Perform revenue reconciliations between subledger and General Ledger.
- Support management, statutory, and external financial reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

SAP S/4HANA Revenue Management

- Configure and maintain:
- Revenue Accounting Items (RAI)
- Revenue Contracts
- SSP Determination
- POB Determination




- Revenue Allocation Rules
- Transfer Pricing and Multi-Element Arrangements

- Support revenue data migration and historical contract conversion activities.
- Monitor and resolve revenue processing and accounting issues.

Integration Management

- Coordinate integration between:
- SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
- SAP FI (Financial Accounting)
- SAP BRIM / Subscription Billing (preferred)
- SAP CRM
- SAP CPQ
- Third-Party Billing Systems

- Ensure accurate flow of transactional data into SAP RAR.
- Support interface monitoring, reconciliation, and issue resolution.

Compliance & Reporting

- Ensure revenue recognition processes comply with:
- IFRS 15
- ASC 606
- Corporate Revenue Policies

- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Prepare revenue reporting and reconciliation documentation.

Project Delivery & Support

- Gather business requirements and conduct fit-gap analysis workshops.
- Prepare Functional Specifications (FS), process design documents, and test scenarios.
- Support SIT, UAT, Data Migration, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities.
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Billing, and Technical teams.
