Job Summary

Vikarta Herbals is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, statutory compliance, and reporting activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, supporting audits, and ensuring smooth financial operations within the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
- Record and verify purchase, sales, payment, and receipt entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Prepare invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and payment vouchers.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
- Maintain petty cash records and expense tracking.
- Process vendor payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Prepare GST-related records and coordinate tax filings.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Maintain accounting records in Tally and other accounting software.
- Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and management summaries.




- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Verify purchase bills, expenses, and supporting documents.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support inventory reconciliation and stock verification activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com / M.Com preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Tally knowledge is mandatory.
- MS Excel, and accounting, software.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Robust analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.Location - Pollachi
