Job Description

- Lead the mechanical design and integration of underwater electro?mechanical systems.

- Develop pressure?resistant housings, seals, and gaskets for underwater environments.

- Create and review 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, GA layouts, and assembly documentation.

- Design for waterproofing, corrosion resistance, and thermal management.

- Collaborate with optics, electronics, and materials teams to ensure system integrity.

- Support prototype builds, testing,



and validation in pressure chambers and underwater trials.

- Ensure compliance with MIL?STD and IP68/IP69K standards for underwater applications.

- Coordinate with vendors for precision machining, sealing components, and specialized materials.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.

- Preferred If

- Experience in designing underwater connectors, housings, or propulsion systems.

- Knowledge of marine standards and defense requirements.

- Ability to deliver in fast?track development environments.

- Solid team spirit and leadership qualities.
