About the Role
We’re looking for a software engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure Platform team.
In this role, you’ll gain deep hands-on experience working with production-grade Kubernetes clusters, infrastructure automation, and scalable cloud-native systems.
You’ll be part of the core platform team building and maintaining critical services such as Kubernetes Cluster-as-a-Service, bare-metal provisioning, container registry, and other internal cloud services — primarily using Go.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure components and services in Go.
- Work with Kubernetes internals, custom resource definitions (CRDs), Helm charts, and related tooling.
- Translate product requirements into scalable, reliable software in collaboration with engineers and engineering managers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Develop and maintain unit/integration tests; debug and troubleshoot production issues.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation workflows using tools like Helm, Make, and GitHub Actions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, APIs, and internal tools.
- Stay current with trends and updates in the Kubernetes and cloud-native ecosystems; contribute to open-source where possible.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software development.
- 1+ years of experience in Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in one systems programming language (Go preferred).
- Solid understanding of container technologies and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Comfortable working with Linux or Unix-like System.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, or large-scale SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with writing or maintaining Kubernetes manifests and basic automation scripts.
- Understanding of REST APIs, gRPC, and foundational backend concepts.
- Hands-on experience with some of the following tools: Helm, Kustomize, Docker, Makefile, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Prometheus, MongoDB, Keycloak.
Preferred
- Contributions to open-source projects in the Kubernetes or broader cloud-native ecosystem.
- Experience building Kubernetes custom controllers.
- Familiarity with tools like Cluster API (CAPI), Kamaji, k0smotron, or OpenShift.
- Understanding of Kubernetes networking (CNI), storage (CSI), and cluster internals.
- Relevant certifications such as CKA or CKAD. What you will learn
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and Kubernetes internals.
- Building and operating custom Kubernetes controllers, CRDs, CSI, and platform services.
- Experience with full lifecycle of Kubernetes-based services: provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Advanced topics like CNI, CSI, provisioning on bare metal, container registry development, and internal platform services
