Studio TreeSpace is a boutique architecture and design practice based in Goa, specialising in holiday homes, villas, resorts and residential communities. We focus on creating thoughtful, contextual architecture with a strong emphasis on design, materiality and the experience of living.

Role

We are looking for a Junior Architect with a strong interest in design, detailing and construction to join our team. The role will involve working closely with senior architects across various stages of projects, from design development and drawings to site execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior architects in the development of concept, design development and working drawings.
- Prepare plans, sections, elevations, details and architectural drawings.
- Develop detailed drawings based on design requirements and project standards.
- Assist with construction documentation and detailing.
- Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, landscape and interior requirements.
- Assist in preparing material specifications, schedules and drawing sets.
- Participate in site visits and understand the execution of architectural details.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors as directed by senior architects.
- Assist in reviewing site work and identifying discrepancies between drawings and execution.
- Prepare presentation drawings, layouts and basic 3D models when required.
- Maintain organised project files, drawings and documentation.




- Work closely with the design team to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in an architecture practice.
- Strong understanding of basic architectural drawings and construction.
- Positive proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop and MS Office.
- Knowledge of rendering/visualisation software is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of materials, construction methods and architectural detailing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Willingness to learn and participate in site work.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
