We are looking for a disciplined and analytical Equity & Derivatives Trader to manage and execute a controlled proprietary trading strategy.

The initial focus will be on intraday trading in Indian equity markets, particularly index derivatives and options.

This role is not just about profitability. Capital preservation, consistency and disciplined risk management are equally important.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Execute intraday trades in NSE equity & derivatives markets
- Develop and follow systematic, rule-based trading strategies
- Analyse NIFTY and index options, OI, option chains, volatility and price action
- Conduct pre-market analysis and identify opportunities
- Maintain strict stop-loss and position-sizing discipline
- Operate within defined risk and drawdown limits
- Maintain daily trading journals and P&L; reports
- Back-test and paper-trade current strategies
- Analyse performance and continuously improve trading approaches
- Maintain complete transparency in trading activity and reporting

RISK MANAGEMENT FIRST

The role will operate within clearly defined parameters covering:





Capital Allocation | Position Size | Daily Loss | Monthly Drawdown | Stop-Loss | Averaging Restrictions | Overnight Positions

The priority is to protect capital while generating consistent, risk-adjusted returns.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

- 2–5 years of practical experience in Indian equity & derivatives markets
- Strong understanding of NIFTY and index options
- Knowledge of option Greeks, volatility, OI and option-chain analysis
- Proven intraday trading experience
- Strong understanding of position sizing and risk management
- Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
- High emotional discipline and decision-making ability
- Comfortable working within predefined trading rules

PREFERRED

- NISM/NSE certifications related to derivatives
- Systematic or algorithmic trading experience
- Knowledge of technical/quantitative indicators
- Experience with trading platforms and broker APIs
- Experience with proprietary trading, brokerage, treasury or investment environments

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
