Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Academic Counsellor to join our Overseas Education team in Infopark, Kochi. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, along with an interest or experience in overseas education.

The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for guiding students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities, university options, courses, admission requirements, and the overall application process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, interests, and financial preferences.
- Guide students in selecting suitable countries, universities, and academic programmes.
- Explain admission requirements, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication throughout the counselling and admission process.
- Assist students with university applications and coordinate with internal admissions and documentation teams.




- Maintain accurate student information and counselling records in the CRM.
- Achieve individual and team admission and student conversion targets.
- Build strong relationships with students and provide excellent customer service.
- Stay updated on overseas education trends, university programmes, and admission requirements.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.
- Previous experience in overseas education counselling, academic counselling, admissions, sales, or student counselling is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Strong interpersonal, counselling, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand student requirements and provide suitable guidance.
- Valuable organisational and follow-up skills.
- Experience working with CRM systems will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
